Helene R. Dillard was appointed dean of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at UC Davis in January 2014 after 30 years as a plant pathology professor at Cornell University. It was a homecoming for Dillard, who is a native of San Francisco. Dillard has a bachelor of science from UC Berkeley and her masters and doctorate from UC Davis. She will share her vision for building strong relationships with stakeholders in California, the United States, and around the world for the university, which is ranked first in the world for teaching and research in agriculture and forestry. What is the role of UC Davis and its burgeoning World Food Center in our Farm to Fork Capital? Join us at our December 2 luncheon as we welcome Professor Dillard.
